Terms & Conditions


• All interested parties must be screened and approved by Grassroots management

• Grassroots management reserve the right to deny any program they deem out of context to their movement

• $200 cash security deposit mandatory upon signing agreement

• All program leaders must sign liability waiver and assume responsibility for their programs/events

• All transactions are to be made in cash or check

• All fees due in advance. In person or by mail: 288 3rd st. Jersey City, NJ 07302

• All terminations or changes in schedule of ongoing programs must be submitted by the 3rd day of the month prior to termination or changes needed. No exceptions.

• In the instance of an interrupted schedule of on-going classes client must make a full 2-month payment of their up-coming scheduled hours in order to maintain their regular schedule of operation. If payment is not received, hours will be made available to other clients.

• All clients are responsible for making full payment for all reserved hours in their time slot for each month. (See payment procedures and policies for detailed list of exceptions)

• Events must be contained within the agreed upon time frame; this includes: set-up, break down, clean-up, etc.

• Repeat imposition on other clients may require payment of said clients hour, rescheduling or suspension of program

• All clients agree not to hang, decorate or remove signs, fliers, etc. without consent of Grassroots management

• A repair/replacement fee will be incurred in the case of negligence to this line item

• Merchandise sales are not permitted without the approval of Grassroots management

• Grassroots receives 30% of all approved sales

• All programs must be supervised during agreed upon rental period, Grassroots is completely program leaders responsibility

• Participants may not enter without group leaders present

• Rented space is to be kept neat & left clean, during & after each use. Continued negligence of this line item will incur a $25 fee for each infraction. Items left behind will be at owners risk

• A $25 fee will be incurred for items stored without Grassroots management consent

• All faucets, lights and electronics must be turned off at the end of each session, failure to do so will result in a $25 fee

• Clients will return all items back to where they were found and in good working order

• All clients will immediately report any damage done during their program to Grassroots management for immediate attention

• All clients will responsibly address, and or repair any damage incurred during their program

• Clients are responsible for any losses or damages that occur during their program

• If the space is found damaged the $200 deposit will not be returned and additional costs may be charged

• Security Deposit will be returned upon completion of rental period providing all terms have been met and no property damage has been done

•Please note that rental prices may vary on dates that fall on Holidays.

•CANCELLATION POLICY: All Reservations are Non-Refundable. Clients must pay the full price of the reservation when they cancel, make changes or no-show.
